Star Wars Fans Send X-Wing Model into Space

There's a new viral video floating around made by the team at Project Helium Tears.  The guys behind Project Helium Tears, Matt Kingsnorth and Phil St Pier, are huge Star Wars fans and they want to go to the premiere of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.  So to get the attention of director JJ Abrams they launched a model X-Wing fighter into the stratosphere.  They attached the x-Wing to a weather balloon and launched it, along with a GoPro camera which they used to beam video of the X-Wing back to Earth.

This is some really cool stuff!  Kudos to the team at Project Helium, hopefully they'll get their wish!
