The latest mobile Star Wars offering has been announced. Lucasfilm has partnered with game development studio DeNa to create a new Star Wars 'tower defense' style game called Star Wars Galactic Defense. The game covers the entire saga, including The Clone Wars animated series. The game will be released in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, no word yet on the release date

This game propels the traditional tower defense genre into a galaxy far, far away by seamlessly blending iconic characters, adrenaline-fueled battles, and strategic gameplay into an exciting one of a kind mobile experience.

You can pre-register to play the game by heading over to www.starwarsgalacticdefense.com. By pre-regestering, you will gain access to bonus missions and unlock Darth Maul.
