Here's Hera! The newest Star Wars Rebels hero has officially revealed! Entertainment Weekly has introduced us to the owner and pilot of The Ghost, Hera Syndulla. "Hera's our pilot, the Ghost is her ship. She's the one who got it, bought it, swindled it out of someone," says Executive Producer Dave Filoni about the green Twi'lek. Vanessa Marshall, who voices Hera, is a veteran voice actor. "Hera guides this band of Rebels," Marshall adds about her character. She will join growing cast of Rebels which includes Freddie Prinze Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum and Tiya Sircar. Hera is described by the Rebels team as "the heart of the group" who's nurturing to her fellow Ghost crewman and brings the best out of them. And even though it isn't mentioned in this announcement, her curious last name connects her to a character we're already familliar with from The Clone Wars. Hera's backstory will be a very interesting one to explore.
"Every time we get a script I am breathless with anticipation. I cannot wait to read what's next... Because I want to see where we're going too," Vanessa Marshall excitedly adds.
