Star Wars Resistance aired last night, bringing to a close an exciting run of twenty-two episodes. The finale had many surprises that upset the status quo and set the stage for an exciting
second season (likely debuting this Fall on Disney Channel). The series' executive producers Just Ridge, Athena Portillo, and Brandon Auman
sat down recently with Entertainment Weekly's Anthony Breznican, where they discussed what went down in the finale and let slip a few teases about season two.

Lucasfilm has released a
new video on USA Today's website introducing fans to some of the new characters we'll be going on adventures with on the animated series
Star Wars Resistance, which debuts this Fall on Disney XD. The video presents a group of pilots known collectively as "The Aces", who are the top pilots on The Colossus. They were hired to defend The Colossus, but in their down time they stage ship races among themselves.
"The Aces" are made up of Torra Doza (Myrna Velasco), Hype Fazon (Donald Faison), Griff Halloran (Stephen Stanton), Freya Fenris (Mary Elizabeth McGlynn), and Bo Keevil (whose voice actor was not revealed). Check out the video for yourself below,

Entertainment Weekly released a new video today introducing many of the main characters on
Star Wars Resistance, known collectively as Team Fireball. The video features interviews with series stars Christopher Sean (Kazuda Xiono), Scott Lawrence (Jarek Yeager), Suzie McGrath (Tam Ryvora), and Josh Brenner (Neeku), as well as several key members of the crew including series creator Dave Filoni, Executive Producer Athena Portillo, Supervising Director Justin Ridge, and Head Writer Brandon Auman. Today at San Diego Comic Con, the Emmy award winning animated series celebrated two historic milestones, the tenth anniversary of its debut and
the announcement of its upcoming return. I was in attendance at the panel and live tweeted all the action, including the look backs at the series origins and the surprising announcement of the series return next year on the Disney Direct to Consumer streaming service. Lucasfilm is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Emmy-award winning animated series
Star Wars: The Clone Wars at San Diego Comic Con this year. On Thursday July 19th at 11:45am in Room 6BCF an hour-long panel featuring members of the cast and crew will look back on the history of the series will take place. The panel will be hosted by Nerdist's Amy Ratcliffe, and will feature supervising director Dave Filoni, producer Athena Portillo, composer Kevin Kiner, and stars Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano) and Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker).
