With the reveal of the new footage from Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker at D23 Expo, there are  many questions that need to be asked.  Fortunately many of the people with the answers were on hand and doing interviews, unfortunately (as expected) their answers offered only more questions.  Director JJ Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, as well as cast members Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Kelly Marie Tran, Keri Russel, and Anthony Daniels took part in several interviews covering what was revealed and what's still to come when the film hits theaters this December.

When it comes to the big reveal at the end of the new footage, specifically a dark side-looking Rey wielding a double-bladed red lightsaber, the cast offered their takes on what it means in interview with IGN.  You can check it out below,

Abrams, Ridley, and Kennedy were all also asked, by Good Morning America, to describe the relationship between Rey and Kylo Ren (aka Ben Solo) in the new film.  Their answers, "connected", "desperate", and "very, very complicated", only raise more questions.  You can see them answer the question in the video below,

In another interview with GMA, Boyega, Isaac, Tran, Ackie and Russel all shared what fans can expect when it comes to the new film (which is to say, they dodged most of the questions but the interview is still fun).  Check it out below,

IMDb also spoke with the cast on the press line at D23 where the cast share little details about their characters and how they've evolved over the course of the sequel trilogy, which you can check out below,
