'Game of Thrones' and 'Harry Potter' Actress Natalia Tena Reveals She Has a Role in 'The Mandalorian'

Now that we've all been treated to the first official trailer for The Mandalorian, more details about the Disney+ series are starting to come out about who and what we'll be seeing on screen.  Another name we can to the already impressive cast is Natalia Tena, best known as Osha on Game Of Thrones, and as Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter films. The actress revealed that she plays the purple twi'lek seen in the trailer in a tweet, which read, "Can you spot my purple alien face? So honoured to have been part of this banging series, my inner geek is doing backflips with bells on."

Tena is the second actor to have their role in the series revealed in the past few days.  Agents of SHIELD and Mulan star Ming-Na Wen had her role revealed by Disney CEO Bob Iger at the Disney Legends induction ceremony at D23 this weekend.  Tena is the second Game of Thrones alum to make the jump to The Mandalorian, following Pedro Pascal who played Oberyn Martell in season four of Thrones and plays the titular Mandalorian on the Disney+ series.

The Mandalorian is set following the events of Return of the Jedi and follows the adventures of a "lone gunfighter", as he navigates the galaxy in the post-Empire/early days of the New Republic.  The series debuts on Disney+ on November 12th.  If you haven't seen the new trailer, you can check it out below,

The series stars Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian, Gina Carrano as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers as Greef Carga, and Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, as well as Nick Nolte, Werner Herzog, Emily Swallow, and Omid Abtahi in unknown roles.  The series is executive produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, with episodes directed by Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Deborah Chow, and Rick Famuyiwa, and Taika Waititi
