While the official word on Star Wars: Episode IX has been mostly silent these past few months(we still don't even have a title!), some well timed leaks have given us glimpses at the characters in the film. Today we just might have been treated to the most substantial leak yet as some poster key art for Episode IX has surfaced.
Of course, this imagery will likely be all over the place later this year as part of the marketing campaign for Episode IX. But if you still want to save your first look at this artwork for Star Wars Celebration Chicago(which is likely the event where much about the film will be revealed), be careful scrolling down. This is your official SPOILER ALERT.

The poster in question appeared on Reddit and features several returning characters, along with quite a few new ones. On it we see Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron in new costumes, Kylo Ren once again wearing his iconic helmet, and C-3PO holding Chewbacca's bowcaster and wearing his bandoleer. You can see what looks like the Knights Of Ren on the left, and on the far right you can see BB-8 along with another smaller droid. There also appears to be a new alien to the left of Finn, and some new red Stormtroopers lining the bottom of the artwork. There is also a couple other intriguing additions to the cast, but we'll get those in a minute. For now, check out the poster in all its glory below:
So to top that off, we also got a lineup of characters from Reddit that is even more interesting! On it we get a clearer look at Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian, as well as Chewie, Rey, Poe and Finn. There are also two new characters included: Zorii and Jannah. Jannah appears to be portrayed by Naomi Ackie, while many are currently speculating that Zorii could be played by Keri Russell. This line of thinking was spurred by Russell's appearance on The Late Show last night where she told Stephen Colbert she has "the coolest costume". You can check out the character below:
Episode IX character reveals from r/StarWarsLeaks
While this is most certainly A poster, it's not THE poster. This type of art will be the basis for much of the promotional campaign for Episode IX and will show up literally everywhere, from fast food drink cups, to bed sheets, the billboards. It's use will be comparable to the artwork below, which you may remember seeing prior to the release of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi:
