It is now well known that production on Star Wars: Episode IX is now well underway after an exciting casting announcement, along with several leaked set photos. In addition we've also been treated to some some intriguing teases from the cast themselves as they prepare to return to Pinewood Studios in London to film their respective scenes.
First off, Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, tweeted out a fun Labor Day greeting which also included a vague reference to Episode IX, in which he stated, "I'm not in the good ol' USA & tomorrow (wait for it...) I HAVE TO GO TO WORK!":
I've always loved the irony of America celebrating #LaborDay by NOT working.— Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) September 2, 2018
Speaking of irony-I'm posting this a day early cuz at the moment I'm not in the good ol' USA & tomorrow (wait for it...) I HAVE TO GO TO WORK! ❤️-mh #EnjoyYourBarbequesBarbecuties pic.twitter.com/GJ8yPAbF8p
Also on Labor Day, the legendary Billy Dee Williams, who will be returning to portray Lando Calrissian in Episode IX, shared a video of himself on Twitter doing a bit of boxing with his personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson. Although he makes no mention of Episode IX, I think it's safe to assume Billy Dee is going to be training extra hard to prepare for his new scenes as Lando:
I can’t think of a better to start my day. Feeling fit, healthy and better than ever. Taking care of body and mind go hand-in-hand.😎@Gunnar pic.twitter.com/4YGkzwknqu— Billy Dee Williams (@realbdw) September 3, 2018
In addition, over the weekend we also got a quick update from newcomer Dominic Monaghan, who was just recently cast in the film. While we still have no idea who he's playing, Monaghan did hint at the beginning of his Star Wars work with a selfie of himself featuring the caption, "Heading to the galaxy far far away":

Although it's hard to glean any information from the film from these posts, it's still extremely exciting to know a new Star Wars movie is being made right now!
