Woody Harrelson, who plays Han's mentor Tobias Beckett in Solo: A Star Wars Story, made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night where he debuted a new clip from the film. In the clip we see Beckett making plans with Val (Thandie Newton) to steal equipment from the Empire while undercover, only to be confronted by none other than Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich). Harrelson revealed in the interview with Kimmel that the scene was actually not shot on location but at Pinewood Studios in London. In another clip released on Kimmel's YouTube channel Harrelson also addressed keeping the film's secrets and what it was like seeing the original Star Wars in theaters back in 1977. Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25th, 2018 and stars Alden Ehrenreich (Hail Caesar!) as Han Solo, Donald Glover (Atlanta) as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) as Qi'Ra, Woody Harrelson (True Detective) as Tobias Beckett, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) as L3-37, Thandie Newton (Westworld) as Val, Paul Bettany (The Avengers) as Dryden Vos, and Joonas Suotamo (The Last Jedi) as Chewbacca. The film is directed by Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind), with a script by Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back) and his son Jon Kasdan (The First Time).
