After making major waves on the big screen as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Mark Hamill looks to be headed to the small screen for a special appearance on the hit comedy The Big Bag Theory.
CBS has announced that Hamill will guest star on the upcoming season 11 finale of Big Bang. The plot of the episode involves Hamill, along with other guest stars Kathy Bates and Jerry O’Connell, attending the wedding of Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik). It unknown whether Mark will be playing himself, or another character. (You may remember that both James Earl Jones and Carrie Fisher appeared in an episode as themselves back in 2014.)
And as of today, it appears production on the episode has already begun. Actress and Big Bang star Mayim Bialik posted a video to Twitter where she shares her excitement of getting to meet Mark Hamill on set. You can watch her (completely understandable) freakout below:

Mark himself also took to Twitter to comment on the news, as well as Mayim Bialik's reaction to him:

The episode featuring Mark Hamill is set to air on May 10th at 8:00 pm ET/PT on CBS.
