The promotional campaign for Solo: A Star Wars Story is now in full swing! Since the latest trailer dropped we've been treated to tons of great photos, interviews and TV spots and more. In addition to all of that several great theatrical posters for the film have leaked out from all over the globe. The latest one to hit the web is one of the better ones.
The official Star Wars Japan Twitter page recently tweeted out the official Japanese poster for Solo: A Star Wars Story. While similar to previous posters, it is also very different, featuring Han Solo, Qi'Ra, Chewbacca, Lando, Beckett and L3, all overshadowed by the Millennium Falcon. I have to say, out of all the posters we've gotten so far, this is one of my personal favorites!
Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in Japan on June 29th and in North America on May 25th. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich (Hail Caesar!) as Han Solo, Joonas Suotamo (The Last Jedi) as Chewbacca, Donald Glover (Atlanta) as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) as Qi'Ra, Woody Harrelson (True Detective) as Beckett, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) as L3-37, Thandie Newton (Westworld) as Val, and Paul Bettany (The Avengers) as Dryden Vos. The film is directed by Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind), with a script by Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back) and his son Jon Kasdan (The First Time).
