We may be just over a month away from being able to own The Last Jedi digitally! Star Wars News Net is reporting that the film will be released as a digital download on March 14th. The report comes from a discovery on the New Zealand iTunes page for the film, which lists its estimated release date as March 14th. This digital release would come just under two weeks before the rumored release date (March 27th) from the film on blu-ray and 4K Ultra.

Releasing a film digitally before releasing on physical media has become common practice in the film industry lately. Both The Force Awakens and Rogue One were released this way (although the gap between digital and physical media releases for The Force Awakens was unusually short).
The release of The Last Jedi on home media is coming sooner after its theatrical run than it did for the previous two films. This is likely due to upcoming release of Solo: A Star Wars Story at the end of May (whereas the gap between films in previous years has been substantially larger).
As always, we await official confirmation of this news from Lucasfilm or Disney.
