A new featurette has surfaced for Star Wars: The Last Jedi which focuses on the portion of filming that was done in Ireland. The scenes on Ahch-To, where the first Jedi Temple is located in the film, were specifically shot on Skellig Michael island, off the southwest coast of the country, as well as in the coastal region of Donegal.

The video includes brand new behind the scenes footage from Episode VIII, along with interviews with actors Daisy Ridley(Rey), Mark Hamill(Luke Skywalker), and writer/director Rian Johnson. You can check it out below:

In addition, it appears Ireland is taking full advantage of their newfound Star Wars fame in regards to tourism. Check out Irish tourism promo below which encourages visits to the filming locations and the surrounding areas:

You can also visit Ireland.com/StarWars to learn more about the area, and even plan your visit there(I know I want to!).
