Some sad news to report tonight.  Allison Shearmur, a producer of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story passed away this evening at the age of 54 after a battle with lung cancer. Shearmur's other credits include being executive producer of the final three Hunger Games films, and producer of Cinderella (2015), and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Shearmur made a memorable appearance in an episode of Rebels Recon during the "Chopper Cam" segment, which was shot on the set of Rogue One.  The sequence featured Shearmur and her colleague John Schwartz (Rogue One's co-producer) rejecting Chopper's pitch for a Rogue One sequel starring him.  You can see the segment below,

Our thoughts are with Shearmur's family, friends, and colleagues tonight. She will be missed by all. RIP.
