If you follow The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson on Twitter, you'll know that he's good buddies with Baby Driver director Edgar Wright. This friendship had a nice bonus for Wright recently, who just revealed on Twitter that he has a cameo in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Wright shared a picture of himself, his brother Oscar, Attack the Block (which also starred John Boyega) director Joe Cornish, and Wright's long time assistant Leo Thompson on set as Resistance fighters. Check out the picture below,
If you are looking for my cameo in 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' this is my grubby Resistance costume. With big brother Oscar, Joe Cornish & Leo Thompson. Shot this cameo on June 23rd, 2016. Thanks to @rianjohnson for making it happen. pic.twitter.com/WHpxu29Z6I— edgarwright (@edgarwright) December 18, 2017
Wright actually teased his cameo back in June during the Baby Driver press tour. Other cameos in the film include, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rogue One director Gareth Edwards (also as a Resistance fighter), and Tom Hardy.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in theaters now!
