The blu-ray box set of season three of Star Wars Rebels will be released next week, and in anticipation Nerdist has released a preview clip of the behind the scenes bonus features that will be available on the box set. The clip is a behind the scenes look at the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn to the Star Wars galaxy and features a fly on the wall look at the moment members of the Lucasfilm story group told author Timothy Zahn (who created the character for 1991's Star Wars: Heir to the Empire) that they would be adapting Thrawn for Rebels. Star Wars Rebels season three will be released on blu-ray and DVD on August 29th. The fourth and final season will air on Disney XD this fall.
