Today during Electronic Art's Presentation during their convention EA Play, a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II was released. The trailer offered fans their first official look at the hotly anticipated follow-up to EA's first entry in Star Wars gaming in 2015. While the first game was a financial success, its reaction from fans was mixed at best. Fans were disappointed by the lack of content from eras of Star Wars other than the original trilogy, as well as a lack of story mode. EA addressed both of these criticisms in the sequel, as you can see in the trailer below,
Also announced, in a video from Finn actor John Boyega, Finn and Captain Phasma will be playable characters in Star Wars Battlefront II as part of the first post-launch season of Battlefront II. In addition, the planet Crait from The Last Jedi (seen briefly in the trailer from Celebration) will be added as part of that season. The best news, all post-launch content will be free to all players. You can see Boyega making the announcement below,
