While some still cling to the notion that Star Wars fans don't like sports and sports fans don't like Star Wars, it's becoming clearer and clearer that this simply isn't true. Star Wars nights are becoming a regular occurrence at various sporting events across all leagues. The Durham Bulls, the triple-A affiliate of the MLB's Tampa Bay Rays, were the latest sports team to hold a Star Wars night this past weekend to great success. However, what makes the Durham Bulls stand out is their amazing promo video they released in advance of the game. The video uses the audio from the recent trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and combines Star Wars and Baseball imagery with fantastic results check it out below,

There have been plenty of The Last Jedi parody trailers but, as a Baseball fan myself, I have to say this one is my favourite! I think all future Baseball highlight packages should be edited to include lightsaber bats, at the very least.
The Durham Bulls would go on to defeat the Toldeo Mud Hens 5-0 on Star Wars night. It looks like it was a great night on and off the field for all involved!
