Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker in the Prequel Trilogy, was born on this day in 1981.
It has been over a decade since the now 36-year-old played the part of the adolescent Anakin in Attack of the Clones (2002) and Revenge of the Sith (2005).
Last week Christensen made his first appearance at a Star Wars convention for 15 years at Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017. His last appearance at a Star Wars Celebration was back in 2002 (he attended the convention before Attack of the Clones hit theatres).
The actor revealed how awesome it was to return to Celebration on 'The Star Wars Show': "It's been a long time. It's awesome to be back. I didn't realise how much I missed all of you. It's great. It really is the ultimate Celebration of the movies and it's great to be a part of it again."
Christensen attended the special 40 Years of Star Wars panel, alongside Ian McDiarmid and Star Wars creator George Lucas, and also signed autographs for hundreds of fans over the course of the weekend.
The 36-year-old said: "I don't really do social media or anything like that, so this is a good platform for me to be able to connect with the fans a little bit, whether that's through a photo or an autograph, I'm really happy to be here."
Star Wars Celebration Orlando demonstrated that the actor's popularity has grown and grown over time and is a particular fan favorite for the generation of Star Wars fans that grew up watching the Prequel Trilogy.
