Star Wars: In Concert debuted at the 02 Arena in London eight years ago today.

The London concert was one of a worldwide series of concerts featuring specially edited footage from all six of the Star Wars films set to live performances of John Williams' Star Wars score.

The first concert was hosted at the 02 Arena and attended by 20,000 fans. Take a look at the opening sequence of the special Star Wars event down below:

The first of the North American concerts took place in Anaheim, California on October 1, 2009. Each concert was narrated by Anthony Daniels and conducted by Dirk Brosse and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

The audience were taken on a musical journey through all six of the Star Wars movies starting with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and ending with Star Wars; Return of the Jedi

The concert then toured the world extensively in 2009 and 2010, with an announced two-date engagement (June 3 and 4, 2011) at the Hollywood Bowl in 2011.

What were your favorite moments from this event?
