'Episode VIII' Wrap Party Held At Natural History Museum In London

There's a lot of exciting things happening in London right now! Fans and celebrities from across the Globe have begun to arrive in England to prepare for Star Wars Celebration Europe which begins on Friday. While the World awaits the surprises that will surely be revealed at that convention, it appears a less conspicuous Star Wars event was held in London recently.

It appears while all of us fans were enjoying our weekend, the cast and crew of Star Wars: Episode VIII were attending a wrap party for the film under the radar. While filming at Pinewood Studios doesn't officially wrap until July 22nd, a multitude of social media posts confirmed that the party took place at the Natural History Museum in London. Many prominent members of the cast and crew were there, including director Rian Johnson and the Lucasfilm Story Group's Pablo Hidalgo, along with stars Daisy Ridley(Rey), John Boyega(Finn), Oscar Isaac(Poe Dameron), Mark Hamill(Luke Skywalker), Joonas Suotamo(Chewbacca) and Kelly Marie Tran.

At home buzz before the wrap party! Another chapter done. Although this is the second time it still feels surreal being involved in such a life changing project. Attendees of the wrap party were also treated to some awesome entertainment. The dancing Stormtrooper group known as "Boogie Storm", which wowed judges and audiences alike at Britain's Got Talent a few months back, performed on stage at the party. Mark Hamill shared a short snippet of their performance on his Facebook page:



Star Wars parties are always the best parties! The fans will be having their own party this weekend when Star Wars Celebration Europe kicks off at the ExCel London Exhibition Centre on Friday! And, of course, Star Wars: Episode VIII will open in theaters on December 15th, 2017.
