Work has begun on another filming location for Star Wars Episode VIII in Ireland in advance of shooting which will take place there later this month.  The Irish Mirror released several photos of the set in Donegal which show the Millennium Falcon under construction.  The Mirror reports that the production crew have been staying in the nearby town of Malin Head for the last three weeks and that Lucasfilm has booked out many B&Bs and local homes for the entire month of May.   The tourist location where the sets are being built will reportedly be closed from May 15th to 17th, which suggests that filming will be taking place there at that time.

The Mirror describes what they saw as, "a huge water tunnel crossing the rugged landscape of the head.  A giant platform has also been erected on a massive outcrop with insiders revealing how a zip-wire is also planned from the platform into the sea."  In addition, the Falcon can be spotted being built on the edge of a cliff.

Check out the pictures below,

The filming in Donegal is believed to be doubling for Skellig Michael, where the final scene from The Force Awakens was shot.  Some pictures were recently leaked of the Falcon on the backlot at Pinewood Studios in London, which also appears to be a recreation of that location.
