In the past hour LEGO Star Wars has provided further details concerning the content of The Force Awakens Lego Game, which is set to hit shelves this June.
The LEGO Star Wars gaming team have announced that users can purchase a LEGO Star Wars 'Season Pass' for The Force Awakens game. The season pass will allow gamers access to:
- 3 New Level Packs: Poe's Quest for Survival, First Siege on Takonda and Escape from Starkiller Base
- 4 Character Packs: The Prequel Trilogy, Star Wars: Rebels, The Freemaker Adventures, The Clone Wars
- An exclusive season pass Jedi Character pack.
You can take a look at the cool poster which accompanied the announcement below:
The season pass sounds pretty awesome. It is refreshing to hear that LEGO have placed emphasis towards giving gamers a higher volume of content, with access to new maps, adventures and characters, stretching from the Force Awakens to the Prequels and even the Clone Wars. However, it is also fair to say that users will still have concern at the fact that there will be added cost to gain access to this new content (which remains undisclosed). Some will question why this content isn't available to gamers who purchase the game on it's own.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set for worldwide release on June 28 2016.
