Over the last few weeks, several images have emerged of the sets for Star Wars Episode VIII being constructed in Dubrovnik, Croatia. While the sets look (really) cool, little is known about what is expected to be shot there and what characters we expect to see there. Now, the Croatian Star Wars fansite, Mos Croatia is reporting that Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Daisy Ridley (Rey) will be filming scenes in Croatia later this month. It was previously reported that new cast member Benicio Del Toro would also be filming scenes during the Dubrovnik location shoot.
As always this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
