Abu Dhabi Celebrates 'The Force Awakens' Release With 17,000 Square Meter Starkiller Base

The Force is strong with Abu Dhabi!  The country which served as the shooting location for the desert planet Jakku in Star Wars: The Force Awakens celebrated the film's release by recreating another of the film's iconic locations, Starkiller Base.  Using the 17,000 square meter coin shaped Aldar headquarters as a canvas, twofour54 and Aldar Properties PJSC recreated the planet sized super weapon used by The First Order in the new film.  The project took 420 hours to cover the building in stickers, which themselves were printed non-stop over nine days.  Check out the video of the impressive (most impressive) project below,
