The secrecy surrounding Star Wars: The Force Awakens has become infamous over the past few years and fans are becoming increasingly intrigued to know what the film has in store for them. But secrecy is nothing new in the Star Wars saga, and one person who knows that better than anyone is Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill. Darth Vader's revelation to Luke Skywalker at the end of The Empire Strikes Back is considered to be one of the greatest plot twists in the history of cinema, and Hamill was one of the few that knew that secret well before the rest of the world. Now with The Force Awakens less than a month away we still know nothing about what part will Luke Skywalker will play in the film. If you want to know the truth, don't bother asking Mark, because he isn't talking.
While on set and in a motion capture suit working on his latest project, the upcoming video game "Star Citizen", Hamill spoke with PC Gamer about his history of keeping Star Wars secrets and seemed to hint that he has a big incentive not to spill the beans on The Force Awakens
"I have something coming out where there’s an amount of money that if it leaks, because of me, I don’t get that payment... I’m good about keeping secrets, I’m proud of the fact that I knew a year and a half before anybody else that he was actually dad Vader... Now it’s happening all over again. I’m not even authorized to tell you I’m in Episode VII, it’s all secret."

Although he doesn't outright say it's The Force Awakens, I think we can catch his drift. It certainly adds another dimension to the situation when actors often say, "I can't talk about that." If getting my paycheck depended on me keeping my mouth shut, I would have no trouble keeping quiet.
Mark won't have to keep secrets for much longer as The Force Awakens hits theaters in 28 days!
Update: Our buddie Steel from the Steel Wars Podcast got Mark's attention on Twitter and he clarified his comments:
The bonus I meant was for returning as Joker in Arkham Knights. I'm keeping my big mouth shut about Ep VII for free! https://t.co/3rrxYGb2XX
