The story of what takes place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens continues to be told this week, as Lucasfilm has announced that Star Wars: Uprising will hit shelves on September 10th (tomorrow!) The mobile game tells the story of the Anoat Sector, where the Imperial governor is denying that Palpatine and Vader are dead and that the second Death Star has been destroyed. The game will be available on iOS and Android devices.

Uprising is the third release in the last seven days by Lucasfilm that is set between Episodes VI and VII. The first was the novel Star Wars: Aftermath by Chuck Wendig on "Force Friday," and the second was Star Wars: Shattered Empire #1, the first issue in a new comic book series from Marvel comics released today.
