To help tide you over for the now less than 90 days until the release of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, a nostalgia inducing fan film titled Summer of '78 has been released online.  The short film is directed by J.C. Reifenberg (Hughes the Force) and produced by James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi on The Clone Wars and Rebels).  The film is wonderfully nostalgic and contains a great twist at the end.  Check it out for yourself below,

Kudos to JC, JAT, and the entire team for putting together such a great film!
