The new issue of Empire magazine, featuring two The Force Awakens covers, hits shelves and to promote its release Empire has released two new behind the scenes pictures from Episode VII online.  The images both feature John Boyega, who plays Finn in the film, shooting scenes in a desert environment for the planet Jakku.  Check them out below,

It seems that the first image of Boyega is from the Abu Dhabi shoot whereas the second one, where he's in his stormtrooper armor, appears to on a backlot at Pinewood Studios in London.  (Otherwise JJ Abrams would be roasting in that jacket!)  Empire also revealed a third, subscriber exclusive, cover for the issue, this one featuring BB-8.  Check it out below,

The new issue of Empire should be on newsstands and in mailboxes today, and will feature new details on the plot of The Force Awakens.
