Rumor: Wicket The Ewok To Return In 'The Force Awakens'

Could a certain pin sized furball from a previous Star Wars film make a come back in The Force Awakens? Our friends at Making Star Wars have come across some evidence that suggest just that. They report that a press book surfaced from a recent event that took place in Japan, where Kathleen Kennedy and Daisy Ridley held a press conference to promote Episode VII. In it, Warwick Davis is listed among other cast members such as Mark Hamill and Anthony Daniels. What's interesting is that above Davis' picture, written in bold yellow letters, the word "Wicket" can be seen. Could this mean that Wicket the Ewok himself will be returning in The Force Awakens?

Maybe, maybe not. This could easily be a misprint. Warwick Davis has played characters besides Wicket in other Star Wars films, such as Wald and Weazel in The Phantom Menace. We can assume he will again be taking on a different role in The Force Awakens. But what if it isn't a misprint? It is entirely possible that J.J. Abrams and crew could try and sneak the Ewok into the film for a quick, humorous cameo? Besides, is it too far fetched to think that some of Endor's natives may have joined the Rebellion after the Battle of Endor to continue the fight against the Empire elsewhere?

So, are you hoping for Wicket's return in Episode VII? Or do you think Warwick Davis is playing someone completely new this time? Let us know in the comments below, or in Club SWU!
