Star Wars Celebration Anaheim is just five days away and updates about the event are flying in fast and furious! Today we got our first look at the floor plan, and the queue plan for the Thursday Morning JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy The Force Awakens preview panel.
The floor plan is available as a pdf now. So you can start planning out your days, whether you'll be spending all day in the exhibit hall or hitting up some panels, or a fun mixture of both!
If you're planning on heading to the big The Force Awakens kick off panel on Thursday, here is what you need to know (via: Star Wars Celebration),
Star Wars Celebration will kick off in a big way at 10:00 am Thursday morning, with a presentation by Star Wars: The Force Awakens Director J.J. Abrams and Producer Kathleen Kennedy.
To understand the ins and outs (hopefully ins) of scoring a seat
for the show, please read through the following Thursday morning plan
carefully.
We look forward to seeing you at the show!
Get Your Badge
Everyone will need a valid 4-Day or Thursday Celebration badge to
queue for the Thursday panel. If you need to buy or pick up your badge
in Anaheim before Thursday, here are our Registration and Will Call
hours, in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center:
- Tuesday, April 14: 4:00-8:00pm
- Wednesday, April 15: 11:00am-6:00pm
If you received your Celebration badge in the mail, you are already ready for the next step:
Get In The Queue
We will open up Hall E, which is directly downstairs from Hall D in the Anaheim Convention Center, at 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 15. Hall E will be open for queueing all night, with restrooms and concessions.
We will monitor the queue numbers and do our best to tell people
their status, i.e. chances of a seat in the morning show. Seats for the
10:00 am Thursday panel are strictly first come, first served.
Get Your Wristband
Approximately 6:00 am Thursday, we’ll start handing out wristbands
for the 10:00 am panel to those in the queue in Hall E. Wristbands will
be handed out down the line, and there will be different colors for each
of the five stages where the show can be seen:
- Celebration Stage (The Arena): these folks, the first in line, will see the show live
- Star Wars Digital Stage (Ballroom 300) - simulcast
- Behind-The-Scenes Stage (Room 204) - simulcast
- Star Wars Fan Stage (Room 303) - simulcast
- Star Wars Collectors’ Stage (Room 210) - simulcast
One wristband per person. Our staff will place each wristband on each person. No extra, loose wristbands will be given out.
Get To Your Stage
We will move the queues to the stages in plenty of time to be
seated before the show starts at 10:00. Stick with your group, and
follow the directions of the helpful staff members.
Enjoy The Show!
Also important to note if you are a cosplayer and want to take part in the big group picture the date and time has changed! Via Star Wars Celebration,
