Every so often we like to take a break from all the news and rumors and focus on something a little more special. Today we have an awesome video from YouTube user "Sam B" who recorded his three year old Son's reaction to watching Episode IV: A New Hope for the first time. The toddler is mesmerized by the film's opening sequence and is especially amazed by the appearance of the Tantive IV and the Star Destroyer on screen. Be sure to watch it below:
I have to say, it's videos like this that remind me that THIS is what it's all about. Those of us who are adults always find ourselves over analyzing and, more often than we should, arguing about every little detail of the Saga. We forget the time when we ourselves were two feet tall and blown away by our first sight into that Galaxy far, far away. I like to say that Star Wars is for kids, and for the kid in all of us. This video certainly reaffirms that. This December I hope you find a way to set aside your cynical fanboy mindset and call upon the kid inside you.
