Read A Note Given To Episode VII Cast & Crew On Their Last Day

Earlier today Mark Hamill popped up beardless, leading us to believe that Star Wars Episode VII's filming is nearing completion. Now we have received a near-confirmation that principal photography is done thanks to a tweet by James Rose, who apparently worked on the film, shared a photo of a heartwarming note he received today with the caption: "Last day on set for some friends today! #StarWarsEpisodeVII #StarWars"

Lucasfilm president, and Episode VII producer, Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that filming would end in three weeks, and it's been a little over two weeks since then. So as post production ramps up, a large portion of the cast and crew will be going home, or moving on to other projects soon. It's also worth noting that this note is the first official acknowledgment of the filming that was done in the Forest of Dean, which we previously only heard rumors about.

It's awesome to see the higher powers that be at Lucasfilm are doing things like this to convey their appreciation to all those who are making Episode VII happen. We, as fans, are certainly grateful for their efforts as well and we can't wait to see all their hard work on the big screen next year!
