The promotional material for Star Wars Rebels have been giving us more and more peaks at what to expect from the upcoming animated series. The newest preview, titled "Droids" features a wealth of new footage from the episodes that feature R2-D2 & C-3PO. Although it hasn't been confirmed, we can presume that this promo is for the second episode of the series, Droids In Distress. You can watch the preview below:

This certainly gets me excited! Including classic & iconic characters like Artoo and Threepio this early on in Rebels will help fans young & old connect better with the series and drive home the message that this show is a significant part of the overall Star Wars saga. Star Wars Rebels premieres Friday, October 3rd on Disney Channel, and will subsequently be appear on other formats and channels. Click here to find out when and where you can watch Rebels.
