It seems one Imperial Trooper tried to trade in his Speeder Bike for Batman's ride! Yesterday we heard that the Batmobile had been stolen, and today the perpetrator was caught in Gotham City!
Well, not exactly. In reality, it was just Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice director Zack Snyder taking advantage of some false rumors that the newly unveiled Batmobile had been stolen from the set of the film. Today he tweeted "Case closed" with a photo of a Stormtrooper being arrested by Gotham City police next to the Caped Crusaders automobile.

This is just the latest photo in a long line of Star Wars/Batman/Superman crossovers Snyder has shared on Twitter, and they appear to be getting more sophisticated. The 501st Legion confirmed via Facebook that one of their own, TK-412 of the Midwest Garrison, was invited to the Batman V Superman set to help pull off the stunt. Needless to say this has made for some incredibly memorable mashups, and I hope Zack Snyder continues this trend.
