Disney has released a brand new clip from the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels, and yes, this is a clip from the premiere episode/movie Spark Of Rebellion, and not another short as we've seen these past few weeks. It features the entire Rebels crew on board The Ghost initiating a operation to free some Wookiee slaves, but before they can complete it, they encounter some unexpected, and unseen problems. The clip first appeared on the Watch Disney XD site with limited availability. Now our friends at the "Star Wars Rebels" Facebook page alerted us to a YouTube version of the clip, which you can watch below:
I have to say, this is the best clip I've seen yet. Previously we've only seen clips and shorts with one of the characters, or just a few of them together. This finally shows the entire crew together doing their thing. Also seeing the dynamics between the characters; Zeb's annoyance with Ezra and Hera's caring for him, for example. The mood also shifts several times, from emotional, to serious, to humor and tension. The Tarkin name-drop was a nice touch as well. My excitement for this series continues to grow!
