Rumor: First Three Spin Off Films Revealed

We may now know the characters for which the first three Star Wars spin off films will be based upon.  The good folks over at the German fansite Star Wars Union have heard that Hasbro showed a chart at a recent training session which showed the plan for the next several years of Star Wars films.  The chart read:

Fall 2014: Rebels
2015: Episode VII
2016: Boba Fett
2017: Episode VIII
2018: Solo
2019: Episode IX
2020: Red Five

We've been hearing that Boba Fett and Han Solo films are in the works since the spin off films were announced, so it's no surprise to see them listed.  The real shocker is Red Five.  As we all know, Red Five was Luke Skywalker's call sign during the assault on the Death Star in Episode IV, so does this mean we're getting a Luke Skywalker spin off film?  I must say, a Luke film would be really interesting, be it set during the Original Trilogy or between the Original Trilogy and the Sequel trilogy.

What do you think?  Are you interested films based on Han Solo, Boba Fett, and Luke Skywalker?  or would you rather see different characters?  Fire away in the comments below, tweet us @TheSWU, or join the discussion in Club SWU on Facebook!

As always this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
