Rumor: 'Rebels' Lego Sets Revealed

It seems we are learning more about Star Wars Rebels through it's toys lately more than anything else. The upcoming animated series is slated to air on Disney XD this Fall, and earlier this week we got our first detailed look at the show's villain with the Inquisitor's action figure. Now, new info has surfaced about Lego sets coming this Summer, two of which are believed to be connected to Rebels. GrooveBricks.com acquired the following info:

Obviously most of these are sets based on existing Star Wars locations and vehicles. The interesting ones are Phantom, Jedi Hunter and The Ghost. Lucasfilm has already made it clear the "The Ghost"(Seen at top) will be the primary Starship for the Heroes of the show. What we aren't familiar with are the other two sets. While they may not be associated with Rebels, we can speculate that the Phantom is another ship, and the Jedi Hunter could have something to do with the Inquisitor. The Star Destroyer and AT-AT(which curiously has 1138 pieces) could also be connected to the show, but we'll have to wait and see.

Remember, this is merely a rumor. Nothing is official until it comes directly from Lucasfilm.

Special thanks to our friend Andy at the Star Wars Rebels Facebook page for letting us know about this!

Update: Our good friend Ruari at the Lego Star Wars For 2014 Facebook page has acquired a few photos of these sets. You can see a small photo of The Ghost set at the bottom he first photo of the AT-AT(which clearly has a Battle of Hoth theme). At the bottom of the second photo, below the Cantina, you can see a line up of minifigures that includes an Ithorian Jedi Master along with two Droids next to the number 75051, which corresponds with with the Jedi Hunter set. Although the set also includes a Jek 14 figure, which most likely means this set ties into the Cartoon Network mini-series "LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles".
