The best thing about George Lucas is that he is always giving us new reasons to respect him.  Yes our favorite franchise has made him incredibly rich, but he has always used that money to help better the world, including donating the money he made in the sale of Lucasfilm to Disney.  His most recent charitable endeavor was donating $25 million to After School Matters, a Chicago based group whose focus is to provide access to extra-curricular activities for low income teens.  Lucas and his new wife Melody Hobson made the announcement yesterday at a press conference with Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel and representatives from the group.
