Over the past few days Episode VII has dominated the headlines, but we actually did have a tiny bit of news about another upcoming aspect of the Saga:
Star Wars Rebels. When the animated series hits the small screen in Fall 2014 it's premiere episode will air on the Disney channel and all the following episodes will air on Disney XD. The official web site for Disney XD has been updated with a page devoted to Rebels, which you can check out by
clicking here. While not much is on the page now, you're going to want to keep an eye on it over the next year, clips, character bios & games will no doubt be added.
But what
is on the site is interesting; featured prominently is a new photo of the Stormtrooper character model, with blaster in hand, which you can see above. You can also watch a behind the scenes video with Executive producer Dave Filoni, which was shown at
New York Comic Con and released on
YouTube.
