Rumor: Star Wars Characters to Appear in 'The Lego Movie'

It seems Star Wars characters could be hitting the big screen in 2014 (or at least their Lego counterparts).  According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, "Characters from George Lucas’ science-fiction epic will be featured in February’s animated “The Lego Movie,” a person close to the movie confirmed."

This lines up with a previous rumor that Michael Daingerfield would be playing Han Solo in the film, and seeing as Star Wars is Lego's biggest license it does make sense.  It might also be a nice way to introduce younger fans to some of the characters they may be seeing on the big screen come December 2015.

So, are you excited about the possibility of Star Wars appearing in 'The Lego Movie' or would you rather wait until 2015 to see Star Wars characters on the big screen?  Let us know in the comments and/or on Facebook.

As always, this is just a rumor until confirmed by Lucasfilm or (in this case) Lego.
