The BBC is reporting that Disney and Lucasfilm are planning on holding open auditions for Star Wars Episode VII later this week in London, Dublin, Glasgow and other locations in the United Kingdoms. The auditions are for the roles of "a 'street smart and strong' orphaned girl in her late teens and a 'smart capable' man in his late teens or early 20s" in an upcoming Disney (the new owners of Lucasfilm) film. The BBC came across this via a tweet from @UKopecall. You can view the roles in the picture below, not they are given very common names, the BBC speculates that this is to "disguise that the auditions are for Star Wars: Episode VII."
You'll notice that these roles do line up quite nicely with roles from the official casting call, released earlier this year. The BBC also reports that JJ Abrams will not be attending these casting calls. Assuming these are for Episode VII, a casting agent will likely pick out the best to show Abrams, who will then bring them in for a call back (that's speculation on my part).
If you are doubting that these auditions are actually for Episode VII, note that the BBC did reach out to Lucasfilm, who declined to comment on the matter. That would make sense to me, if they want to keep out the riff-raff that a Star Wars open audition would likely bring.
As always, this is just a rumor until confirmed (or denied) by Lucasfilm or Disney.
UPDATE: This has been confirmed by Lucasfilm!
UPDATE #2: The Glasgow auditions have been rescheduled from November 16 and 17, to November 30 and December 1.
