Star Wars.com announced today that several new guests have been confirmed for Star Wars Celebration 6 this summer in Orlando Florida. The highlight of this second group of announced guests is Peter Mayhew the actor who played Chewbacca in the Star Wars films. The other guests that were announced were Tim Rose, Trevor Butterfield, Nick Maley and Paul Springer. In case you are unfamiliar with these guests here's what the official site had to say about them:

Peter Mayhew -- originally an English hospital worker who found himself catapulted into films -- stands 7'3", and was discovered when his photo was featured in a newspaper article about men with large feet. Mayhew was subsequently cast as the Minotaur in Ray Harryhausen's Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. Around the same time, he was cast by a young writer/director named George Lucas in a space fantasy known as Star Wars. The actor threw himself into the role -- even visiting zoos to study the movement of bears, monkeys, gorillas and other animals with traits that could be used in defining the Wookiee co-pilot's performance. Once inside the costume, Mayhew embodied the character singularly and completely, creating one of the trilogy's most enduring characters.

In addition to bringing the co-pilot of the Millennium Falcon to life in the original Star Wars trilogy, Mayhew returned to "a galaxy far, far away" to reprise the role of the Wookiee hero in Revenge of the Sith. Like his onscreen character of Chewbacca, Mayhew has been a long-time favorite in the Star Wars fan community.

Tim Rose: "It's a Trap!" The performer behind Admiral Ackbar, Tim Rose, will be at Celebration VI. The puppeteer also performed the iconic Sy Snoodles and Salacious Crumb.

Trevor Butterfield: Butterfield performed a variety of roles, including an Imperial Officer and Lt. Blount in Return of the Jedi.

Nick Maley: A make-up artist in The Empire Strikes Back, Maley was involved with Stuart Freeborn in the creation of Yoda.

Paul Springer: Mime artist and puppeteer, Springer portrayed a Gamorrean guard and the character Ree Yees in Return of the Jedi.
