At long, long last the video game Kinect Star Wars was released today after many months anticipation. The game uses the controller-less motion sensor "Kinect" gameplay to allow players to play through many different aspects of the Star Wars Universe. The game was first teased back at E3 2010 and then was officially announced a year later at E3 2011. The different gameplay modes are: Jedi Destiny: This allows the player to play as Jedi, using their body to swing the lightsaber and control the Force. Rancor Rampage: The player gets to play as a Rancor and basically destroy everything in sight!! Podracing: Players gain experience by competing in multiple podraces throughout their career, using their body to control the pod. Galactic Dance Off: Dance to your favourite songs, with a Star Wars twist!! Duels of the Fate: Simply put, Lightsaber duels!! Also released today is the Star Wars themed Xbox 360 bundle (which includes a copy of the game). The special limited edition Xbox 360 is painted to look like everyone's favourite Astromech droid R2-D2 and the controller is painted (gold) to represent C-3PO.

Check out the trailer for the game below:
