Will the true Jedi traitor be revealed in time? Tune in this Friday, March 1st at 8:30pm ET/PT on Teletoon(in Canada) and Saturday, March 2nd at 9:30am ET/PT on Cartoon Network(in the U.S). You can view the full episode guide on StarWars.Com and another exclusive clip on Blastr.com. Also check out Bryan Young's spoiler free review of this episode on BigShinyRobot.com.

Moral:  "Never give up hope, no matter how dark things seem."

Official Synopsis:
The shocking finale to Season 5 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars has arrived, with major revelations that will leave characters forever changed. Ahsoka is wrongly accused for sedition and murder, and is to be prosecuted in the High Courts of the Galactic Republic by a zealous Admiral Tarkin. Seemingly abandoned, Ahsoka’s last hope lies in Anakin Skywalker, who hunts the Coruscant underworld for the real murderer in “The Wrong Jedi”...

This episode – the culmination of five years of development of Ahsoka Tano’s character and her relationship with Anakin – is personally helmed by Dave Filoni, who serves as episodic director in addition to being the supervising director for the series. Underscoring the significance of the finale, composer Kevin Kiner arranged an orchestral score for this episode to better resemble the full, classical score found in the Star Wars feature films.

The Clone Wars Preview Guide: "Sabotage"

By: Benjamin Hart

After an extended hiatus from the small screen, Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano return to Star Wars: The Clone Wars in the seventeenth episode of season five, Sabotage. The Clone War continues to rage across the Galaxy and we find Anakin and Ahsoka on the frontlines of war torn Cato Nemodia. But a tragic attack on the Jedi Temple forces them to return to Coruscant and investigate. Could a there be a turn coat amidst the ranks of the Jedi? Find out this Friday, February 1st at 8:30pm ET/PT on Teletoon(in Canada) and Saturday, February 2nd at 9:30am ET/PT on Cartoon Network(in the U.S). You can check out the full episode guide on StarWars.com here.

Moral:  “Sometimes even the smallest doubt can shake the greatest belief.”

Official Synopsis: In the first of this four-part episode arc, Anakin and Ahsoka are called back from the frontlines to investigate a deadly explosion at the Jedi Temple. Clues surface that a Jedi might have been responsible for the blast in “Sabotage.."

Trivia:
  • The four episodes of this arc are all named after Alfred Hitchcock films: Sabotage (1936), The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934), To Catch a Thief (1955) and The Wrong Man (1955).
  • “I’m afraid one can become the other,” says Anakin, referring to past political idealists who have betrayed the Jedi, including Count Dooku and General Krell from Season Four. It’s ironic, given his future.
  • Russo-ISC’s speech pattern, name, and habit of flipping his visor to punctuate his speech are all nods to David Caruso’s role in CSI Miami.
  • In addition to an image of a crossed-out clone trooper(seen above), the Temple protester signs said “The Jedi are corrupt,” “Stop cloning violence”

Clone Wars Preview: "The Lawless"

By: Benjamin Hart

The thrilling third part of the Darth Maul story arc is upon us this weekend with the sixteenth episode of the Clone Wars' fifth season, Lawless. After killing Pre Vizsla in the previous episode, Darth Maul has now taken control of Mandalore with Death Watch under his command. With the Duchess Satine as his captive he lures Obi-Wan Kenobi to the planet and plans to finally enact his revenge. But will a band of Rebel Death Watch members, led by Bo-Katan, and another Dark Lord of the Sith foil his plans? Check out the full episode guide on StarWars.com here.

Fortune Cookie: "Morality separates heroes from villains."

Official Synopsis: With Duchess Satine as bait, the vengeful Darth Maul lures Obi-Wan into a trap. Drunk with power, Maul declares himself the true Sith Lord, a claim that will not go unanswered in “The Lawless”...

Trivia:
-This episode marks the first appearance of Darth Sidious “in the flesh.” In all other appearances, he has been a hologram.

-Obi-Wan Kenobi is wearing his Rako Hardeen disguise (from Season Four’s “Deception” arc) when he arrives on Mandalore.

-The much battered Twilight now sports a cartoonish illustration of Anakin as a boy Podracer pilot, with Aurebesh text that says “WIZARD!!!” The Twilight has not been seen since Season Two’s “Children of the Force.”

The Clone Wars Preview: Season 5 Episode 11 – A Sunny Day in the Void

By: Ciaran Duggan

Secret Weapons was a great introduction to our primary characters in this new story arc. The characters which I found to be most enjoyable were Colonel Gascon and the droid Wac-47. Both providing great on screen humour and were very relatable to the audience.

The upcoming episode, A Sunny Day in the Void, places our heroic droids into a new side mission. They are stranded on the planet void and have to find a way out to return to republic command to complete their mission.  It is clear to see that there will be more humour in this episode and that this mission will lead to the appearance of a certain republic commando. Down below is the official episode description given by Lucasfilm, along with two video clips too:

"When all seems hopeless, a true hero gives hope."

After a comet damages their shuttle, R2-D2, Colonel Gascon, and the other droids crash on a desolate planet where they must make their way across a bewildering expanse of emptiness to carry out their mission.

The Clone Wars "Secret Weapons" Clips

By: Benjamin Hart

Two new clips from the next episode of The Clone Wars, "Secret Weapons" have been released:

Clip #1.... Does the General's voice sound familiar?

Clip #2 kind of reminds me of a James Bond film where 007 is being "introduced" to his new gadgets.

Synopsis: R2-D2 and other Republic droids receive a mission to retrieve an encryption module from the Separatists.

"Secret Weapons"airs this Saturday at 9:30am PT/EST(November 30th in Canada) on Cartoon Network. It is the first episode of a four part story Arc unofficially deemed the "Droid Arc".

Check out some images from this episode below:

The Clone Wars Preview: "Bound for Rescue"

By: Ciaran Duggan

Last episode ended on a major cliffhanger – Ashoka captured by pirates and the younglings stranded on their own in space. The next episode looks to expand the storyline to more than just Ashoka and the Younglings, with the reappearance of Obi Wan (finally!!) and everyone’s favourite cyborg – General Grievous. An epic duel awaits in the next episode between Obi Wan and Grievous. Additionally, the younglings and Huyang are set to rescue their comrade Ashoka from the clutches of Hondo’s gang. I, for one, cannot wait to see how this storyline is developed in the next episode, which is sure to be a clone wars classic. Down below is the episode official description, from Lucasfilm:

"When we rescue others, we rescue ourselves."
With Ahsoka captured by Hondo's pirates, the younglings work together to infiltrate the pirates' den, using their wits and courage to deceive Hondo Ohnaka and launch a daring rescue.
