Ever since The Mandalorian premiered on Disney+ last November audiences have been enthralled with ever aspect of the show. From the pop culture phenomenon that was created by "The Child"( A.K.A Baby Yoda), to the revolutionary filmmaking techniques used to create the series, fans just can't get enough Mando.
While we await the second season of The Mandalorian in October, Disney & Lucasfilm will be releasing a new docuseries entitled Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. StarWars.com announced that the eight episode docuseries will feature executive producer Jon Favreau and others as they go behind the scenes of the space-western series. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will include brand new footage, interviews, and roundtable discussions hosted by Jon Favreau. The first season of the docuseries will cover many topics, including the filmmaking process, the legacy of George Lucas’s Star Wars, how the cast brought the characters to life, and much more.
The first episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will hit Disney+ on May the 4th, also known as "Star Wars Day". In addition, StarWars.com revealed that the final episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will also be debuting on Disney+ on the same day, ahead of it's original release date on May 8th. Both releases will surely make for an extra special Star Wars Day!
