As of today, we are officially only three months shy of the release of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker! Fans are anxiously awaiting the reveal of any new previews of the upcoming film, and one such reveal dropped today that's already raising eyebrows.

Earlier today, writer Jay Stobie shared some cover art on Twitter for an upcoming issue of Star Wars Insider magazine. The artwork is a comic book store exclusive cover for issue #194 and features previously unseen art from The Rise Of Skywalker. The cover puts a heavy emphasis on the bad guys and features an assortment of First Order characters, including Stormtroopers, Sith Troopers, Jet Troopers, Snow Troopers, the Knights of Ren, and, of course, Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. In addition, we also get some First Order vehicles, including Star Destroyers, TIE Fighters, Kylo Ren's TIE Advanced fighter, and the newly introduced First Order Treadspeeder and TIE Dagger. You can check out the cover in all its glory below:

In addition to that, Stobie also made mention of a newsstand cover for Star Wars Insider that prominently features Rey. A closer look at the top left corner of the First Order cover appears to reveal a blue Lightsaber crossing with Kylo's blade. This led to speculation that the two covers could be combined. Soon after, seemingly confirming this theory, Twitter use @RedRubyRJ shared an image of a The Rise Of Skywalker advent calendar that features the original artwork right beside a new piece of art focusing on the good guys. On it we see an assortment of characters, including BB-8, D-0, Poe, Chewie, Zorri Bliss, Lando, and Rey. We also see several ships, including X-Wings, A-Wings, Y-Wings, and the Millennium Falcon. You can see it for yourself below:

And our friend Sleemo points out that Jannah, Finn and Threepio are also featuring in the art, and also shared some interesting new merchandise:

She also confirms that this issue of Star Wars Insider will be available for purchase in January. So while you can enjoy the art now, you'll have to wait until after you see the movie to read the magazine:

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker opens in theaters on December 20th!
