Star Wars fans have many, many things to look forward to next year, but one of the biggest events to happen in a Galaxy far, far away in a long time will be the opening of Galaxy's Edge. Two nearly-identical versions of the new 14 acre Star Wars-themed land will be opening at Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida in 2019. Galaxy's Edge will be fully immersive, transporting you to the distant planet Batuu within the Star Wars galaxy.

To make the experience all the more authentic, the Millennium Falcon will be parked in an area near the center of Galaxy's Edge. While spy photos and some recent videos showed us glimpses of the legendary YT-model freighter as it's been under construction, we've yet to get a clear look the ship... until now.

The Disney Parks Blog has shared an incredible new photo of the fully completed Falcon on location at Galaxy's Edge. The ship appears to look exactly as it does in the films, complete with it's rectangular radar dish, as seen in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

You can view the photo below:

Galaxy's Edge is expected to open to the public in the Summer at Disneyland, while at Walt Disney World it is slated for a Fall debut. Both openings are already anticipated to be be massive events and will draw visitors to the parks from all over the world. Brady MacDonald at Blooloop predicts that at least 200,000 people will descend upon Galaxy's Edge during the first day. If you want to read more of his speculations about the park, be sure to read MacDonald's full article here.

Experiencing Galaxy's Edge is going to be an absolutely amazing experience... Even if you have to wait 6 hours in line just to ride one of the attraction's two huge rides.
