We are now just mere weeks away from the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story on home media! The various editions of the films will include a variety of bonus material, including never before scene behind the scenes footage. Today we were treated with two really cool teasers showing the film came to be and more.
The first video was released by SyFy Wire and is a clip from the featurette titled "Team Chewie". The footage focuses on the new Wookiee roars that were created for Chewbacca, specifically for his introduction as "the beast" on Mimban. You can watch the clip below:
Next up, on social media Lucasfilm shared a new "bonus trailer", showcasing even more new footage, including a sneak peak at another deleted scene. At around 0:23 in the video we see Han Solo in what looks like a TIE pilot's uniform, which could be another glimpse at scenes involving Han's time at the Imperial Academy which were ultimately cut from the film. And last, but certainly not least, we have a humorous video featuring Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke and Donald Glover discussing what it was like to work alongside the mighty Chewbacca (played by Joonas Suotamo):
Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to hit digital HD on September 14th, as well as DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on September 25th.
