A second deleted scene from Solo: A Star Wars Story, which will be included in the home media release of the film this month, has been released online by Entertainment Weekly. The scene features the moment in Han's life where he is kicked out of the Imperial flight academy (for having a mind of his own). It begins with Han flying a training mission in a TIE fighter, before moving to Han's trial before the Imperial military tribunal. Check out the clip below,
This scene is apparently chalk full of cameos from members of the film's crew. This includes co-writer Jon Kasdan and 1st AD Toby Hefferman as Tag and Bink, as well as Ron Howard's wife Cheryl. Solo co-costume designer Glyn Dillon (who is also in the scene) put up an Instagram post identifying everybody. Check it out below,
This is the second deleted scene from the film that has been released online. The first was an extended version of Han and Qi'Ra's chase through the streets of Corellia where they attempt to evade Mulloch and other members of Proxima's gang. You can check out that scene here.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to hit digital HD on September 14th, as well as DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on September 25th. You can see more previews for the film's home media release here.
